The RMS Cyber Resiliency (CyRes) organization is looking for
a talented Cyber Systems Security Engineer (CSSE) to join our team in Orlando,
FL. This position will support the Training & Logistics Solutions (TLS)
line of business on the Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) training
system.
As an individual contributor on this team you may be
responsible for a combination of the tasks below:
- Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, validate and verify Cyber solutions across the lifecycle.
- Design, develop, document, test, and maintain solutions for the Anti-Tamper and/or Cybersecurity domains.
- Support cyber risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and analysis of mitigation solutions.
- Develop, evaluate and analyze design constraints, trade-offs, and detailed system and security design as they pertain to the Cyber domain.
- Coordinate with Cyber and system architects and developers to provide oversight in the development of solutions.
- Conduct cybersecurity tests and evaluation of hardware and/or software designs to verify and validate compliance with defined specifications and requirements.
- Employs cyber security processes, methods, techniques, and tools and assure their consistent application.
- Implements appropriate Assessment and Authorization activities as required by customers.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the DOD SECRET classification level.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (such as Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering) and 2 years of professional experience; or no experience with a related Master’s degree.
- DoD 8570 approved baseline certification for IAT Level II (IE CompTIA Security+, GSEC SSCP, CCNA-Security) or ability to achieve certification within 6 months.
- Understanding of NIST 800-53 and CNSSI 1253.
- Experience with Linux and Windows Operating systems.
- Understanding of requirements analysis and/or decomposition
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge/Experience with Cyber Threat-Driven Methodologies.
- Have the aptitude to analyze security vulnerability reports and develop/implement a plan to mitigate critical vulnerabilities.
- Understanding of Static and Dynamic Code Analysis tools in CI/CD pipeline.
- Strong understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
- Experience in decomposing Cyber requirements and applying STIGs- down to the CCI level.
- Experience using Model Based Systems Engineering tools (e.g. CAMEO, Rhapsody)
- Experience with software assurance measures and secure coding.
